Another Catholic in the US Senate

Incoming New Jersey governor John Corzine will appoint Representative Robert Menendez to fill his Senate seat. Rep Menendez's voting record is less than stellar:

Voted against:
the Partial Birth Abortion ban
a ban on human cloning
the Unborn Victims of Violence Act
a ban on federally controlled substances for assisted suicide

Voted for:
lifting the ban on abortions in military facilities
funding UNFPA
increasing federal funding of ESCR

I suspect Senator Menendez's voting record will be no different.
