In the House of Representatives: total of 132, 19 freshmen, 43 Republicans and 89 Democrats.
In the Senate: a total of 25, with 2 freshmen, 9 Republicans, 16 Democrats.
5 Eastern Orthodox Catholics
In the House of Representatives: a total of 4, 3 freshmen, 1 Republican and 3 Democrats.
In the Senate: only one, Republican Sen Olympia Snowe of Maine.
